Performancing is a Firefox extension that adds blogging directly into the browser. I like the editing pane that is resizeable and part of the browser. It wasn’t obvious (until I RTFM) but you get the URL of the current page in the browser from Firefox’ context menu.

One has to click on the categories tab to get to the list to select the appropriate category for the item. But that’s a minor item.

I’m going to try using Performancing for awhile before deciding if it’s better or worse than using the bookmarklet that comes with WordPress.
