Thunderbird

Thunderbird the email client from mozilla (the same people that bring us Firefox) is my email program of choice.
It does IMAP well (better than Outlook Express which downloads your messages instead of leaving them on the server where they belong) and has a nice interface.
My only problem with it is that sometimes crashes in [...]

You’ve got to hand it to Pixar. They get bought out but seem to end up with the upper hand in the process: Pixar goes to Hollywood | CNET News.com.
Pixar executives are put in charge of Disney’s animation department, Pixar retains its culture (read autonomy), and for good measure Steve Jobs becomes Disney’s largest shareholder [...]

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is the best source of information about movies that I know of. It’s wonderfully comprehensive.
It’s also a wonderful hypertext in the original sense of the word. Following links from movies to the actors to their movies, etc., etc. is just a lot of fun.

The GIF Pronunciation Page

I like the The GIF Pronunciation Page because the author actually provides evidence for his case instead of opinion like much of what one sees on the net.
By the way, if you are too lazy to read the entry the proper pronounciation for the acronym GIF is “jif” (i.e. soft g).
